The development of spa businesses has been booming all over the Middle East over the last few years creating a possibility, to experiment with different design processes. The principle of the minimalistic aesthetic present in the owner's residence inspired a contemporary, natural approach towards the Spa & gym, where the space design emphasizes extreme leisure and comfort with an artistic note.
The entire Spa is conceived as a spatial continuum connecting various functions, such as indoor pool, gym, sauna center, hydro-massage pool and treatment rooms. There is a corridor where you can relax, experience chromotherapy or just pass through enjoying the outdoor view.
Throughout the interior, basic tones are applied, emphasizing the material and its texture. Hard wall panels contrast with the dark granulated ceramic on the floor, while a white, shiny membrane illuminated with RGB light reflects scratched Italian marble. These basic colors match perfectly with the wide walls and ceiling, giving the interior almost a surreal atmosphere with its multilayered surface. Wooden panels in treatment rooms give a soft and natural touch to the interior, almost anticipating the touch of a therapist on a client’s body.
