Right on the north coast of Split, the local community of Kastel Sucurac extends along the coast in a very traditional residential fashion.

After two decades of extensive development, Split has seen some serious interest by the touristic industry not only by nationals but by neighboring countries exploring the wonders of the Adriatic coast gems.

Due to such sudden explosion of interest, Split is currently facing some infrastructure challenges to sustain such demands in development, which is why local and in this case international developers are looking to alleviate this pressure by looking at adjacent lands with equal potential.

Kastel Sucurac is the perfect alternative, not only by its effective land connections (by roads, train, and airport) but mainly by its waterways potential. 

The selected area has been in disuse for nearly two decades due to soil contamination, making the standard challenges of coastal developments even more interesting, as a result, a series of strategies to condition and recover the land define both phasing and strategy.
